I don't think I really realized until we missed this time, how much women stricken with infertility suffer. Honestly, these women voluntarily take incredibly strong medications to try and get their bodies to cooperate. They voluntarily go through all sorts of procedures that are both painful and embarassing. And most importantly, these women voluntarily have their hopes dashed nearly monthly. It's no wonder that women struggling with infertility are an angry, sad, and emotionally stressed group. How many times do you go through it before it ruins your soul?
Does it ever "ruin" one's soul? It might leave tread marks, but ruination is a pretty strong state of affairs.
Or do I just not know what I'm talking about? It happens.

Seeing as this is just the beginning, I don't really know yet. But from some of the blogs I have read, it can get that bad. If you let it, and maybe that's the key. IF you let it.

In that case, you should consider yourself prepared in advance to be on guard for potential soul rot. I recommend regular thorough inspections.
